Important Info
Please take the time to read and understand our club rules when joining our weightlifting community.
Your responsibility
Please sign our attendee sign in sheet located at the door at the beginning of each session you attend.
We appreciate you arriving to class on time, this demonstrates respect for your coach and other athletes in the class, it ensures you can participate in the brief and the general class warm up, without causing any disruptions. Our Coaches will try to check in on each athlete to see how you are feeling, however, it is your responsibility to let the coach know about your restrictions/limitations before class. Our Coaches will modify and adjust accordingly
Gym Etiquette
We pride ourselves on being a team; therefore, If the gym is busy, team up with another member and share a platform to work through your programs together. Please keep your platforms tidy with weights stacked neatly and safely on either side of your bar or at the back of your platform to avoid any issues/incidents to yourself or others.
Safety
For reasons of health and safety, members must adhere strictly to the following: Members are required to bring a small sweat towel, shorts and t-shirts must be worn at all times, suitable footwear should be worn at all times, offensive language or behaviour will not be tolerated, clashing weights, excessive noises and mistreatment of equipment will not be tolerated and anyone thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be immediately removed and their membership will be reviewed.
Membership
Berserker Barbell Club membership entitles the member to participate in scheduled weightlifting classes. Members who opt for a weekly or fortnightly direct debit membership agree this will continue until the membership is terminated. Prepaid memberships are non-refundable. There is a 7 day cooling off period for new gym members who take out the direct debit option. The 7 days starts from the date of induction.
Cancelling memberships:
4 weeks written notice is required when cancelling a membership.
Pausing payments
Members are required to give a minimum of two weeks written notice when pausing membership payments. Payments will automatically restart after the nominated pause period. Minimum of two week pause is required, if an athlete returns prior to the two weeks or the nominated pause time, they would be required to pay a casual membership fee per session they attend. You may be required to provide written medical clearance when returning from injury.

Open gym
Members MUST be current financial Berserker barbell Club and QWA members to use the gym during open gym time. Open gym is not a coached session. A registered AWF coach will be present during open gym for insurance purposes. Athletes participating in open gym sessions are required to be out of the main gym area and off the platforms prior to scheduled class starting times. If no one is present at the gym within 10 minutes of the advertised open gym time the coaches are permitted to close the gym..
Coaches
We believe in only the highest standards of physical fitness training. Since being founded, our coaches are actively enriching the lives of our members and creating a community of like-minded people who love being healthy, strong, and more in touch with their bodies. You can be assured that all coaches are qualified, competent, courteous, and committed to your success.
Warrant
By participating in any training activity at Berserker Barbell Club, you warrant that you are physically fit, have disclosed all relevant health and medical history, and are in a condition that allows you to participate fully in such activities.

Membership sign-up
All members are required to fill out and sign the membership form below by sign this form you acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by the club policies. You required to undergo an induction before using the gym.
